The user guide explains how Image Gallery helps people find visual context in Microsoft Teams without scrolling through long chat histories.
Start Here
Section titled “Start Here”Image Gallery works as a Teams tab. When it is available in a chat or channel, it shows images from that conversation in a searchable, filterable gallery.
Common Tasks
Section titled “Common Tasks”- Open Image Gallery from a Teams chat or channel tab.
- Filter images by sender, date, chat, channel, or context.
- Search for text found inside images when AI image search is enabled.
- Open images in full screen view to inspect details.
- Use quick actions to jump back to the related Teams message or download a single image.
Notes for Users
Section titled “Notes for Users”Images and processing results stay in the Teams client and local browser storage. Image Gallery does not bulk export Teams images or turn Teams into an archive.
